Medical Weight Loss

Loosing weight and, more importantly, keeping weight off can be difficult and complicated. Factors that include age related slowing metabolism, yo-yo dieting, and simple genetic factors all contribute weight gain during our lifetime. Significant weight gain can be added by simply adding 5 pounds a year for 10 years.

For the longest time the only effective long term medical treatment offered for weight loss was bariatric surgery. For many people it was either to scary, or simply not an option financially. We are happy to offer a new effective and affordable treatment for weight loss and weight management.

Semaglutide ( GLP-1)

Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, or GLP-1. These GLP-1s have been safely used for years to help control type 2 diabetes by lowering blood sugar. However, in recent years we have learned that GLP-1s in higher amounts also interacts with the parts of the brain that suppress your appetite and signal you to feel full.

Tirzepatide (GIP And GLP-1)

Tirzepatide is both a GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptor agonist and a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist. Both GIP and GLP-1 receptors are found in areas of the brain important for appetite regulation. By utilizing Tirzepatide to target the appetite regulation receptors it has been shown to decrease food intake and modulate fat utilization.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are a once weekly, almost painless injection, that will melt away unwanted weight without hunger or cravings. When used in conjunction with diet and exercise can cause significant weight loss.
